Beta launch: say YA to streaming.
On June 30, 2026, yastream.com opened its beta for low-latency live streaming with SRT, RTMP, RTMPS, WHIP, and direct browser watch links.
Why yastream exists
- We built yastream for people who want a cleaner live streaming foundation: fast ingest, low-delay delivery, and a watch link that opens in the browser.
What the beta supports
- SRT, RTMP, RTMPS, and WHIP ingest.
- Low-latency browser playback.
- A simpler product surface around the same production experience behind Remoteroom.
What comes next
- Protocol support, viewer tools, recordings, native apps, and production rough edges will keep improving during beta.
Streaming setup guides
- OBS Studio: use a Custom service for RTMPS, or paste the complete yastream SRT URL into Server and leave Stream key empty.
- vMix: send the program output over SRT in Caller mode, with H.264 video and AAC audio in MPEG-TS.
- Blackmagic Web Presenter: use a custom RTMPS or SRT destination when available; for SRT, the Stream ID goes in the separate Key field.
- Teradek Prism SRT: choose Caller; Host takes only the hostname, without srt://, port or query parameters. Enter Port separately and paste the exact Stream ID, including secure/ when present. Use Source Port 0, Encryption Disabled, Interface Auto and start with 250 ms latency. Select Teradek Prism in the stream setup guide for copyable fields and a text mockup. VidiU and other models require their own protocol check.
- Choose RTMPS for broad compatibility, SRT for difficult contribution links, and verify camera support model by model.
